> CloudMounter and Bucketeer side by side: Finder drives, S3, Azure, sync, encryption, distribution and pricing model, from official sources.

CloudMounter by Electronic Team mounts cloud storage and servers as drives on the Mac, with client-side encryption, and is also available for Windows. Its vendor describes it as a virtual drive, not a sync tool, and Azure Blob Storage is not documented. Bucketeer is a Mac app for S3 and Azure Blob Storage with a browser window, Finder drives and sync jobs.

## The short answer

- **Choose CloudMounter** if you want drives in Finder for many services, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive included, and work in Finder only.
- **Choose Bucketeer** if you work with S3 and Azure Blob Storage and want a browser window, object versions, metadata and sync jobs next to Finder drives.
- Both mount storage in Finder, both encrypt on the client and both are in the Mac App Store.
