The source code is published at https://github.com/digitalfreedom-co-za/bucketeer under the Source-Available License described in the License document. Publishing the source code is not a distribution of the App.
7. Dispute resolution
7.1 EU Online Dispute Resolution
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 repealed Regulation (EU) No 524/2013). 8. Liability for content
The provider is responsible for its own content in the App and on its website under the general law.
Bucketeer connects to S3-compatible endpoints and Azure Blob Storage accounts that you configure yourself. The objects stored there are your content or the content of third parties; the provider neither hosts nor sees them. There is no general obligation to monitor information transmitted or stored by others (Art. 8 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, applicable through § 7(1) DDG). Obligations to remove or block information under general laws remain unaffected.
9. Liability for links
The App links to external websites whose content the provider does not control. The operator of a linked page is responsible for its content. Linked pages were checked for legal violations when the link was set; permanent monitoring is not reasonable without concrete indications of a violation. The provider removes such links once it becomes aware of an infringement.
10. Copyright
Which copyright law protects the App’s texts, images and code is determined by the country for which protection is claimed (Art. 5(2) Berne Convention, Art. 8(1) Rome II Regulation). Reproduction, adaptation and distribution beyond the limits of that law require the provider’s written consent.
The source code is licensed under the Source-Available License. Open-source components bundled in the App keep their own licenses; see Open Source Notices in the About window.
11. Data protection
A Data Protection Officer has not been appointed; the provider does not meet the threshold for a mandatory appointment under Art. 37 GDPR.
